Service Description

In this advanced class, students will have the opportunity learn deeply into the essence of Chinese tea culture. They will learn different types of Chinese tea, tea sets and tea-making techniques, and understand the origin, production process and characteristics of tea. Through practice and experience, students' tea art skills and tea tasting abilities will be improved. Students will have the opportunity to participate in the design and production of creative tea art to showcase their unique artistic talents. They will also learn to appreciate the beauty of tea art works and tea sets, and express their understanding and feelings about art. In addition to Chinese tea culture, students will also learn about tea cultures from around the world. They will learn about the differences in tea varieties, tea rituals and tea culture in different countries and regions, thereby expanding their vision and knowledge of tea and broaden their artistic vision and learning about tea. Contents: (Total 6 lessons) L1: Enjoy tea with teaware L2: Skillful design teaware & banquet L3: Knowledge of Water and Quality Lesson 4: DIY tea making Lesson 5: Japanese and Korean Tea Ceremony Lesson 6: British black tea and world tea customs Duration: 1 hour per lesson No of participant: Minimum 2 pax per class (only small class teaching) Fee: HK$4990 per person *Each student comes with a set of practice tea sets + six standard tea samples **Each participant will be awarded an event certificate and a souvenir! Our Facility & Equipment : 1/Advanced interactive TV + PPT presentation + Video + Full range of tea type samples and specimens 2/ Hong Kong’s first water purification system equipment and display space meet the "National Sanitation Foundation NSF58 (including NSF42/53) approval certification". Students are welcome to bring their own water/filtered water to our tearoom and we can help and analysis the water quality by our professional equipment. Attention before class: 1/ Forbidden to apply scented hand cream/perfume before class 2/ Eat some food first prevent empty stomach 3/ If you need to change the activity, please notify 48 hours before the start of the tea class. Students can arrange another time for the class within six months 4/ No refund of our event once booked 5/ Participants must arrive on time. 6/ If the Black Rainstorm Warning or Typhoon Signal No. 8 is in effect, we will inform and re-schedule. **Tutors can teach in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
